Recently, the media has been in frenzy after rumors of Tom Cruise and Lindsay Lohan dating came out. They reportedly said the two had "hooked up in London."

According to US publication OK! Magazine, the stars had been "secretly seeing each other." They allegedly swapped numbers on Oct. 7 at Chiltern Firehouse.

Tom is filming "Mission: Impossible 5 in Monaco," while Lohan is currently living in London as she performs in the play "Speed The Plow." Despite the two being busy in their own careers, the 52-year-old and the 28-year-old star were reportedly inseparable all night.\

"Lindsay's always had a major crush on Tom and was dying to run into him, so the second she got her chance, she pounced," a source told OK!

Lindsay was also mentioned in Vanity Fair's claims this year that Tom auditioned several Hollywood starlets to be his wife before he settled with Katie Holmes. The claims were later denied.

At the time the allegations came out, Lindsay took to Twitter to deny her involvement in the claims.

"I just want everyone to know, that I have/had no part in the [Vanity Fair] story, nor has anyone in my life, personal and work related," she tweeted.

Now, despite the rumors of the her and Cruise "hooking up," Lindsay denied the rumors once again.

The "Parent Trap" star's reps dismissed the claim that she Tom had "bumped into each other" in London and fell head over heels for each other, reports Mail Online.

Unsurprisingly, Lindsay's rep told Mail Online there is "no truth" in what the source said.

According to the false rumors a source said, "Lindsay is absolutely buzzing - she's always thought the world of Tom."

"Lindsay has been craving the security and sophistication that comes with dating an older man, so she couldn't believe her luck when she ran into her old crush [in London]. She's head over heels," added the source.

As for Tom, the source said, "He genuinely thinks he can help Lindsay turn her life around."

Lindsay had purportedly thought Tom to be "the sexiest man alive" while Tom thinks he could help Lindsay "turn her life around."

While that news came out, another source denied the rumours, according to Glamour Magazine.

"Never has one thing been so not true. This may be the most insanely funny lie ever told. Tom is not going to date Lindsay Lohan," said the source denying the rumors.

"He'd be friendly to her in her company but dating is far-fetched, she would be lucky to even be in a film with him. The closest they will ever be together is in the same room somewhere but that is it," the source added.

Meanwhile, Katie Holmes, Cruise's former wife, has spoken for the first time about her and Tom's relationship following their 2012 split.

The 35-year-old admitted that she has doubts about her parenting skills with 8-year-old Suri on occasions.

"You do the best you can. Some days you feel really good about yourself and some days you don't," she told People magazine recently.

Katie added that the support from other parents have made things a lot easier for her.

"You really need to support each other, help people through whatever it is they're going through -- whether it's: 'My kid just threw a tantrum' or 'I was late for graduation' or whatever it is, you know!," said the "Dawson's Creek" star.
