To say the Heists DLC is highly anticipated by "Grand Theft Auto 5" fans is an understatement. Rockstar confirmed that Heists will be coming "soon" and will be available for all platforms, not just new-generation consoles.

Many gamers have grown restless, and rumors circulating about Heists only coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC platforms certainly didn't help matters. However, gamers can now put those concerns to rest, as Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 users will also be receiving the Heists update, according to IGN.

For the past few days gaming site IGN and Rockstar have been working together in efforts to promote the upcoming remastered "GTA 5" as well as the brand new First-Person Mode, and also mentioned some brief info on Heists.

"And as for the long-awaited Online Heists? Of course they're still coming (to all platforms), and 'soon,'" Rockstar said according to the report by IGN.

In typical Rockstar fashion, the gaming company didn't mention any specific release date other than "soon." There have been many rumors and speculation on the release of Heists. Some claim it's going to be released with the remastered version on Nov. 18, and others claim that it won't be coming until the New Year.

But with Rockstar recently sharing a number of Heists-related screenshots via their official Newswire, many GTA fans are speculating that Heists could be available as early as the next 1.18 Update.
