Information coming from GameBlog, a French gaming news outlet, suggests a potential new Story Mode DLC is coming to "Grand Theft Auto 5" soon.

When GameBlog was trying out the new "GTA 5" version for the PlayStation 4 during a recent Rockstar Games presentation, the company took the opportunity to question some Rockstar representatives about any additional downloadable content planned.

According to the report, one of the representatives had "great ambitions" for a DLC strictly related to the single player campaign rather than GTA Online. The report mentioned that gamers could expect the new DLC to be on similar levels as the episodic expansion packs that were implemented for "GTA 4" including The Lost and Damned and The Ballad of Gay Tony.

If true, the news is fairly substantial considering Rockstar has never before released a single player campaign DLC for "GTA 5." The publishing company has been hinting at one since March when they mentioned something about a Trevor Stories DLC, but that hasn't yet been released.

GameBlog didn't mention any details on when the new DLC could be released. However, according to YouTube GTA tipster DomisLive, a potential Story Mode DLC isn't likely to be released until after the new PC version is launched on Jan. 27. That way Rockstar can release the DLC for every platform at the same time rather than having to re-release content.

In addition, DomisLive doesn't think the Story Mode DLC will be available for free like all previous DLCs for GTA Online. The YouTube tipster believes it could cost anywhere from $15 to $20, but adds that new single player campaign content would certainly be worth the cost.
