Family and friends surrounded Diem Brown when she passed away yesterday at the age of 32. But it seems like the reality star had given them a sign that she was in a better place after her third bout with cancer.

Her best friend, Julie Rotondi told People Magazine that after the MTV star passed away something incredible happened. "A few minutes after she passed away the most incredible thing happened, the hospital lights flickered, making them look like strobe lights and it was so loud--it was like a dance club. It made all of our hearts stop because we knew it was her, we knew she's up in Heaven having a dance off, it could have not been more fitting. We all looked at each other and said yep, she did that".

Brown, who was an MTV veteran entertainment reporter and MedGift creator, kept fighting even after the doctors told her that there was nothing they could do after they found out that her colon cancer had already spread to her liver and lymph nodes. "We kept telling her that it was okay to let go, that it was not giving up, we kept telling her that she has fought enough." Rotondi said.

The MTV veteran then decided to spend her last few hours with friends, including Rotondi and fellow entertainment reporter Alicia Quarles. At the time of her passing, she was with her father and her siblings.

Brown passed away on November 14, 2014 at 10:22pm which was exactly the same time she was born in 1982.
