Appearing on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon", Aussie actor Liam Hemsworth admitted that kissing Jennifer Lawrence in "The Hunger Games: Mocking Jay - Part 1" was "pretty awkward" and kind of gross.
"She's one of my best friends, I love her, but if we had a kissing scene she would make a point of eating garlic or tuna fish," the 24-year-old performer shared as Fallon laughed.

Hemsworth may have found his onscreen kiss with Lawrence rather awkward, but it seemed like he wouldn't have minded lip locking with former "Charmed" actress Alyssa Milano if given the chance.
The actor shared with Fallon that Milano was one of his biggest celebrity crushes when he was in high school and, consequently asking if she was married.
Fallon then asked Hemsworth which movie brings him to tears, to which the actor shared "Titanic".
Aside from asking details about the actor's favorite tearjerker, smooch experience with Lawrence and, talking about his crush on Milano, Fallon also showed a school photo of Hemsworth which featured the actor looking rather dorky.
Hemsworth shared that he had a growth spurt as a teenager, which left him a tall, and lanky.
Fallon playfully commented that he thought Hemsworth looked "pretty cool" in the photo.
After the interview, Fallon and Hemsworth competed in the original "Tonight Show" game "The Hemsworth Cup", aptly named after Liam and his brother Chris, star of "Thor", both beat Fallon in scooter races.
Fallon, however, managed to beat the actor this time and won himself the coveted cup.
The actor made an appearance on the late night show to promote "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1". The highly anticipated movie will open in theaters next week.
Hemsworth, a native of Mebourne, Australia, was once in a high-profile relationship with singer Miley Cyrus. They split in 2013.
