Appearing on "The Meredith Vieira Show" last Wednesday, actress and reality star Tori Spelling shared that she didn't believe that she shared or cried too much on her reality show "True Tori". The said episode had Spelling and Vieira decorating a Christmas tree, wrapping presents and stuffing turkeys.

Vieira asked Spelling if she felt that the drama on her reality show was too much for public consumption. Spelling replied that her husband's scandalous affair had already been made public, so she couldn't deal with it anymore in private.
To clarify, Spelling stated, "We're talking about the affair that my husband had, almost a year ago, and I just chose to deal with it because it was my journey, my truth and women everywhere go through this. I wanted to put it out there."
Although dealing with infidelity is an extremely sensitive and heart-wrenching issue, many viewers questioned whether or not the over-the-top emotions and drama imbibed in the show were real or simply stirred up to create a more intense show.
It seems, however, that the drama was real, and it has gotten to the point that even Dean McDermott, Spelling's husband, could no longer deal with the heaviness of it all. Believing that he was being portrayed as a monster, McDermott opted out of the show.
McDermott stated that the show has taken a toll on him, but that if it helps his wife, he will continue supporting her need to star in it.
Despite McDermott's absence, Spelling wants to continue with the reality show, saying that the experience is cathartic for her.
"It's something, I needed that, I didn't have a voice for so long, it's almost the way I was raised," she added.
Spelling shared that she has more stories to tell, since she takes on so many roles. Not only is she a wife, she is also a mother, an actress and a woman.
