Jaclyn Stapp, the estranged wife of Creed vocalist Scott Stapp, has filed a petition asking that the troubled singer be placed on a 60-day psychiatric hold, claiming that he is lying about his sobriety, according to a report by TMZ.

In a petition for divorce early in November, Jaclyn made similar claims. A report by the Madison County, Florida police revealed that Stapp has been under a 72-hour psychiatric hold after police allegedly found him rambling on a roadside.
Jaclyn Stapp and Hayat Nesheiwat, the singer's mother-in-law, both filed the petition in an attempt to persuade a certain judge Scott to place the singer in 60 days of pyschiatric hold.
A report by TMZ added that the two women could attest to Scott's refusal to seek help and he has been hooked into drugs, including amphetamines, steroids, weed, cocaine, Ketamine and many more.
Stapp and Nesheiwat also revealed that the Creed vocalist has also been leaving bizarre messages, claiming that the ISIS would attack his son's school, biological weapons are on the way and that he's being poisoned. What was more troubling was his threats to hurt people. Stapp has already gone broke and has long abandoned his family to leave in his truck.
The women accused Scott of lying on the video he released on his Facebook, although Stapp has since deleted the video. He also countered that he's clean and that he's detoxifying himself, which, if true could prove fatal at times.
Stapp made an update on his Facebook page saying :
"I'm going to step back and let God control everything from here on. I should have continued to do that before I allowed my hurt, frustration, and emotions take control and post those videos. All I can say is that the truth will set you (me) free, and I'm holding on to Jeremiah 29:11 and Isaiah 44:8. This is a test of faith, and I will NEVER give up or lose my faith. No matter what. This will be my last statement until after justice is served. Love to you all my friends."
