A 13-year-old boy in Georgia is no longer a captive of a false wall which has kept him hidden from his mother for four years, but his father and stepmother are now captives of the county after the judge denied them bail on Sunday morning.
The boy visited his father in 2010 and his dad refused to return him to his ex-wife. He instead claimed his son was missing when the boy, then only 9, was kept only in a closet inside the father's house in Jonesboro, cleverly hidden by a false wall similar to what viewers see in detective shows or action movies like James Bond, whenever the mother visited the house.

The mother suspected that her ex-husband was just hiding their son so she sought police help. On Friday, the police raided the man's house and discovered the boy, now 13 years old, inside the compartment of a storage closet covered by towels. He was reunited the next day with his mother.
Neighbors testify that they saw the boy working on the yard and his father and stepmother are considered very nice people.
"The young man didn't seem under any distress," NBC quoted neighbor Julie Pizarro as saying. "I guess you never know what's behind closed doors."
Authorities immediately arrested the father, Gregory Jean, 37, and his second wife, Samantha Joy Davis, 42. They filed obstruction, false imprisonment and cruelty to children charges against the duo.
On Sunday morning, the pair appeared before the Clayton County judge who declined their bail application, but dismissed a previous charge of obstruction.
USA Today reports that the stepmother actually has records of child cruelty charges out of Henry County. She is likewise facing physical harm charges for hitting the boy with a stick on his legs, back and buttocks.
The father and his second wife will return to court on December 9.
