India was shaken by an amateur video uploaded online which showed two sisters fighting off a group of men who reportedly harassed them sexually while on a crowded bus.
The video led to the arrest of three men by the police officials in the country's northern Haryana state. The two sisters also complained about the harassment and used the video as their proof.

The video was reportedly recorded by one of the passengers on the said bus and the clip has been aired on several television channels on Monday. The two women in the video were beating, hunting, punching and whipping their alleged harassers with a belt. Other passengers did not do anything and only watched the two sisters defending themselves.
Reports suggest that the video was shot on Friday when the two sisters were on their way to school. They are both college students. The arrest happened on Sunday evening as police were prompted to investigate the incident after the footage surfaced online.
The two women who were identified only by their first names, Arati and Pooja, pointed out that they attacked the men after they received lewd comments and stroking from the three men. Arati said that one of the men started to touch her sister and made "kissing gestures".
Arati shared that he told that man to go away or else she would teach him a lesson. After saying that, the man then called another fellow saying they will beat the sisters for making such comments. Another man then got on the bus to back up the two men.
According to the sisters, no one on the bus helped them and others even told them not to provoke the three men because they retaliate or launch an acid attack on them later.
Haryana's chief minister, Manohar Lal Khattar, released a statement applauding the bravery of the sisters and said they would be honored to have the two young ladies as guests for India's Republic Day celebration in January.
Many Indians also took to their social media accounts their opinions regarding the bravery of these two women and also criticized the passengers for not helping the victims of sexual harassment.
