Since they don't know of any other way to keep tabs on their troubled daughter, Amanda Bynes' parents are now tracking her via GPS.
Amanda's mother Lyn, who is currently in charge of her personal and financial affairs, has set up an account with Uber, a car service app, in order to grant her the freedom to move as she pleases, while at the same time, still knowing where she goes.

A source shared with Radar Online, "Uber can take Amanda anywhere she needs to go and it's paid for out of Amanda's estate, since her mom has conservatorship. This allows Amanda to have independence. But at the same time her parents can track where she goes."
Although Lynn and her husband Rick still conservatorship over Amanda, the two are planning to relocate to Texas because they feel like they've already done everything they could to help her. The two are also said to be done with life in California, and would prefer to live closer to their eldest daughter.
Bynes, on the other hand, has been staying with various friends following her release from a psychiatric facility last October. She is currently residing in a hotel.
However, before moving to the hotel, Bynes was accused of trashing an apartment which belonged to her hairstylist and two other females.
Damage to the property included cigarette burns and blue hair dye on the carpets and porcelain sinks. The damage was said to have totaled US$1,500.
The lease is under the name of the mother of one of the residents. The mother is now asking Amanda's parents to pay for the damages.
Rick and Lynn were said to have refused to pay the bill, saying that the women knew how unstable Amanda was, and still insisted to have her stay with them despite their objections.
