Gossip site TMZ reported that Amanda Bynes' parents no longer want conservatorship over her and, are planning to file legal documents to hand rule over her to someone else. They are also reportedly moving to Texas permanently.
Sources familiar with Bynes' case shared that instead of her parents, conservatorship will be given to a mental health specialist who is familiar with handling people with very serious mental illnesses. Her parents will be asking the judge to transfer conservatorship over the next few days.

As for the star's finances, her parents are planning to transfer everything that concerns money to a money manager.
The move to Texas was decided on because the actress' parents want to live closer to their older daughter.
Sources claim that Bynes' parents believe they no longer have the capability to take care of her. They are said to be hoping that once they no longer have control over her finances, the star might just stop hating them.
Despite giving up conservatorship and, going through very difficult situations with their daughter, Bynes' parents still want to eventually have a relationship with her again.
Bynes, who could no longer be held involuntarily at the medical facility she was residing in, has been wondering around the Sunset strip, jumping from one diner to another and one hotel to another since her release.
She is said to be living off gift cards given to her by parents which she receives from a court-appointed lawyer.
Her parents are only reportedly giving her gift cards worth US$50 and, US$100 only when she really needs more money.
The star has also returned to Twitter to rant about her parents and her mental health issues. The morning after the said posts were uploaded, the star claimed that her friend was the one who penned the said statements.
