A McChicken sandwich was considered by Iowa police as a weapon when they filed domestic assault charges on Wednesday against a 21-year-old man whose pregnant wife surprised him with the fast food meal.
The wife, Elle, woke up 21-year-old Marvin Tramaine Hill II at 1 p.m. with a McChicken sandwich. It was supposed to be his lunch before they go to the doctor for an afternoon appointment.

But the husband, who didn't like anything McChicken, threw the sandwich at his wife's face and then picked up the bun and smashed it on her face.
Hill even claimed when arrested by Des Moines police that his wife, also 21, was the aggressor and showed them a video of her shoving his cellphone out of his hand. However, the officers refused to believe Hill.
It turned out Elle, after being hit by the McChicken sandwich, went to the bathroom to clean herself, but Hill followed her and used his cellphone to record her which he planned to use as evidence against Elle.
Police said that Elle had mayonnaise on her face and shirt, while her nose was swollen when they arrived at the couple's home. They arrested Hill, confiscated his weapons and weapons permit and detained him at the Polk County Jail.
Because of Hill's temper bursts, Elle is considered lucky since some domestic violence incidents ends in death.
In Milwaukee, officers are undergoing training for a new program, the Lethal Assessment Program, designed to prevent domestic violence homicides. Its aim is to ensure that all cops in Milwaukee County have the skills needed to prevent people from being killed when domestic problems turn violent.
