Elliot Rodger Vowed to Kill Every 'Blonde Slut' in YouTube Video

Elliot Rodger may have been motivated by intense feelings of rejection from women when he went on a shooting spree that killed seven people in Isla Vista near the California college town of Santa Barbara Friday.
Investigators arrived at the possible motive after seeing online videos posted by the suspect on YouTube where he vowed to seek "revenge against humanity". Rodger specified a certain sorority as his target, whose members he said he would kill.

Elliot Rodger, 22, is the son of Hollywood Director Peter Rodger, better known for his work as assistant director of the hit movie, The Hunger Games.
The Rodger family had been instrumental in leading authorities to the creepy YouTube videos posted by Elliot on Thursday, a day before he mounted the fatal shooting rampage.
In the said video, Rodger, a student at a Santa Barbara college, described his college life as "torture" because he never experienced the things that college students normally did, such as dating.
Transcriptions of the video had Rodger complaining that he was still a virgin at 22, had never kissed a girl, could never get a date, and said it was unfair that everyone in college experience fun, sex and pleasure whereas he "had to rot in loneliness."
"If I can't have you girls, I will destroy you. I will take to the streets of Isla Vista and slay every single person I see there," Rodger threatened in the video, an act which he did Friday.
Elliot's self-confessed lonely college life was in stark contrast to his father Peter's glamor-filled life as a director in Hollywood. Peter Rodger was an acclaimed British photographer before he moved to the United States to work on films in the mid-90s, according to the UK Times.
In a blog post in April, Elliot Rodger revealed his admiration for the beautiful blonde girls that walked around in shorts and cascading hair, saying he wanted to have one of them as his girlfriend, but wondered why they found him repulsive.
On Saturday, authorities found that Elliot Rodger had stabbed three people to death in his apartment complex before he took to the streets to shoot other victims on Friday night.
He is said to have gone straight to a sorority house and shot dead two women while wounding another. Rodger next proceeded to a local deli and shot dead a student inside.
Driving away in his BMW, Rodger was reported to have continued firing at pedestrians while he engaged in a gun battle with pursuing police.
Rodger was eventually cornered and found dead with a gunshot wound to the head, but authorities were not sure if he sustained it from the gun battle or inflicted it on himself.
A lawyer for the Rodger family told NBC news that Elliot Rodger was diagnosed with a form of autism called Asperger syndrome.
