Sony released the PS4 2.03 firmware update to enhance the console. The PlayStation Twitter said "Heads-up: PS4 system software update v2.03 arrives later tonight, and will help improve usage of some applications."

According to reports, the download is now available but unlike the PS4 2.00 update, the latest version is just a stability update.

The change log is shorter than all the add-ons seen in the previous firmware update because the main improvement is only the stability while some features are being used. It's still a worthy update since it stabilizes the performance of PlayStation 4.

The PlayStation Blog also announced a Holiday Sale now ongoing at the PS Store. Price slashes are up to 65% but PS Plus members can enjoy discounts of up to 75%.

The Holiday Sale is only the first of four as it counts the day until the final week of the year. The first Holiday Sale edition will continue until Dec. 9.

Several games that fans can grab for the PS4 this week are Castlestorm Definitive Edition, flow, Oddworld: New 'n' Tasty, Stealth Inc: Ultimate Edition, Strike Suit Zero: Director's Cut, The LEGO Movie Videogame, Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition and Wolfenstein: The New Order.

Sony also celebrates the 20th year of the PlayStation, unveiling the 20th anniversary limited edition PlayStation. Some 12,300 lucky people can own this limited edition console.

It comes in the "original gray" color of the first PlayStation and costs 499 Euros.
