Samsung is doing everything it can to make sure the Galaxy S6 will be a lot better than its predecessor, the Galaxy S5, which failed to meet global sales expectations.

Rumor has it the next Galaxy device will be a true iPhone rival once more. The plan is to give the smartphone a fresh start, which explains its codename Project Zero.

The Galaxy S6 concept includes a QHD display with 2560 x 1440 pixels screen resolution, 64-bit Snapdragon 810 octa-core CPU, Adreno 430 GPU, 20 MP rear camera with 4K video capture, heart rate monitor, fingerprint technology and Android 5.0 Lollipop mobile operating system.

Speculations claim Samsung will offer two curved edges display based on the Galaxy Note Edge's success. If the South Korean tech giant combines these powerful specs with a premium design that can rival the best handsets on the market, Android vendors will be forced to compete with it in the high-end category.

The Samsung Galaxy S6 may be released earlier than people expect. A new concept video shows off its full-metal body and killer specs to get the fans even more excited.

Samsung usually unveils its upcoming flagship handset at the Mobile World Congress in March and markets the device in April. The Galaxy S6 release date, however, is expected in March, which means the device will be available in the same month it's officially announced.
