The email also contained a link to Twitter account, @hiddencash, where clues on the location of the hidden money are revealed.

The millionaire claimed that he had earned his money through real estate and had more than he could have ever imagined. He saw this as a way of giving back to the community and at the same time, to also have fun.

He revealed that he had also donated to various charities and organizations like the East Palo Alto Kids Foundation, Kiva, Second Harvest Food Bank, SF Food Bank and Loaves and Fishes.

Since the campaign began, it seems people from all over the city have been running around and trying to find the hidden hundred dollar notes.

Anna Powell told reporters that she and her friends were looking through Twitter and upon reading a tip that money was hidden at Bush and Powell, had rushed out and ran through the whole mall. Unfortunately, they were too late.

Alfie Estrada was one of the lucky finders when he found a twenty dollar bill at the Lake Merritt Bart Station in Oakland. He donated his find online to AIDS Life Cycle charity.

Estrada thought the mystery millionaire was "awfully nice."

"I don't know that I necessarily would if I had that kind of money, but I'd like to think I would," he added.

Meanwhile, cash is still being hidden and subsequently found. According to The Bold Italic, the campaign will be continuing indefinitely.
