The hacker group Lizard Squad has been striking multiple gaming companies and services with DDoS attacks at a frequent rate as of late. But now they've seem to draw the attention of famous hacker group Anonymous, which apparently sent out a video threatening the less-prominent group.

Lizard Squad has been focused on targeting the Xbox Live network, PlayStation Network, Twitch.tv and even certain games such as "Destiny" and "Call of Duty." The group sends out distributed denial of service (DDoS) attacks, which essentially crashes the servers so gamers can no longer login to the network.
The group takes credit for the recent DDoS attack on Xbox Live that caused problems for gamers all weekend, in addition to PlayStation Network reportedly receiving a DDoS attack from Lizard Squad yesterday having a similar effect.
Now a video has been circulating around multiple media outlets and social media claiming to be Anonymous, which demands the Lizard Squad to stop the attacks on gaming communities or else Anonymous will intervene and begin to target the group.
"Quit while you're ahead because the FBI is watching you; they will find you and Anonymous will help and support them," Anonymous said in the video. "You said your next attack is on Christmas Day. We will stop at nothing to ensure that you never attack the gaming communities again."
Although the video is seemingly real and consistent with past Anonymous videos, it's worth noting that it wasn't actually posted on an Anonymous official YouTube channel, which has led some to question its authenticity.
"You have been warned. We are anonymous. We are legion. We do not forgive. We do not forget. Lizard Squad expect us," Anonymous said as the video ended.
