Hsu was invited to be a producer of Ray Hou Lei's (Top 4 of Chinese Idol Season 1) new music album. Hsu attended Hou's press conference in Shanghai as a producer on Monday, December 8.
"I am now addicted to music," said Hsu. "I am working on my new music recently. Will share with everyone soon!" Hsu has not had new music work for six years. The first new song Blue Christmas will be released worldwide on December 15, and the new EP can be pre-purchased in Five Music on December 16.
Hsu has her idea on doing business. This is her first album after getting married. She uses the model of digital single release and pre-purchase album. Hsu is not a works-seeker, but she pays more attention to the high quality of works. She will mainly focus on her music and will also work as an agent for singers.
The contestants are like a mirror of Hsu. When looking at the contestants who work so hard in the stage, "They make me miss myself at the time as a singer, so I have been back to the music studio and enjoy the pure happiness of making music!" Hsu said.
Hsu became one of the producers of Hou's album because Hse is attracted by Hou's unique voice and image. Hsu not only writes lyrics for Hou but also selects songs and works on music arrangements, singing backup as well as post production. Hsu said happily that she absorb new things in the interaction and cooperation with new singers.
Hsu is invited to have an online conversation with fans in Singapore at 2 P.M. on December 12.
