The case of Jessica Chambers, the Mississippi teenager who was burned to death, has been studied by investigators and they strongly think there is a huge possibility that there was a second person in the car before the woman was found burning near the vehicle.
According to reports, District Attorney John Champion feels that there was a second person but refused to explain why he thought that Chambers was not alone before she was burned. The car was set on fire near Courtland, Mississippi last December 6 and the investigation is still ongoing as to finding the woman's killer.

Chamber has died the day after she was found burning near her car and a funeral was reportedly held just this Saturday.
The United States Marshal Service has issued US$10,000 to the US$1000 reward that the Chambers family has posted to whoever could give any information regarding the death of their daughter. Authorities have also noted that the mobile phone of Chambers has been very helpful in making leads as to who was the murderer.
Authorities have already interviewed one person who was taken in for questioning for a few days last week but was later released as he pointed out that he knows Chambers but has not seen her for more than a month now.
According to officials, Chambers did say something to the fire department officials who responded at the scene and it might lead to her murderer however, her statement cannot be released to the public yet.
Chambers' father, Ben Chambers, has recently released a statement talking about the findings of the doctor. He said that doctors told them the killer/s might have sprayed some kind of accelerant down her throat. Doctors added that 98 percent of Chambers' body has been burned and badly injured.
Homicide is being looked into as one of the angles of the killing.
