While a Destiny sequel hasn't been officially announced, fans know it's coming.
Game developer Bungie previously announced its intention to turn the game into a 10-year series and community manager DeeJ Dague confirmed players can expect an improved and expanded sequel.
Bungie also said a new Raid will be up soon. There will be "The Dark Below" expansion, a level 30 Guardian, a Fireteam sorted for battle and survival instincts.

The race started on Dec. 9, 1:00 a.m. PST. Changes include Pocket Infinity, fixes to the bug that causes the quick charging after the first shot, daily event reward packages and more.
Previous maintenance also provided more stability for gamers who previously encountered connection problems.
New maintenance is expected to last for several hours and Destiny will be completely unplayable for the entire downtime period.
The Destiny patch notes include the addition of more data logging for matchmaking systems, improvement on logging of disconnections, improvement of connectivity failure handling to lessen beaver Kick to Orbit events (KTOs), roster system fixes, internal tool fixes and bug fixes.
Server fixes include security fixes, improvements to server performance, frequency reduction of KTOs, better logging and Centipede error fixes.
Bungie has continuously updated Destiny since the gme's launch on Sept. 9 for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3.
The update is the most recent patch that made big changes to Engrams. This most recent update involves the Destiny web app companion and adds the Grimoire Update for easier card viewing and in-game bonuses.
Another major change can be found in the Help section, which makes it easier for gamers to search for resolved issues or articles.
The PlayStation Blog also revealed the PS players of Destiny will soon enjoy The Undying Mind Strike and the exotic shotgun The 4th Horseman once the DLC becomes available.
