Destiny April Update Brings Exclusive PlayStation Contents

“Destiny” developer Bungie recently announced that it will release a new update on April 12. Although the update will be rolled out on all platforms for free, Bungie said that a handful of gears and items will be exclusively released for the PlayStation consoles.

The scheduled weekly reset of "Destiny" took place on Feb. 23 and with it marks the return of the popular Iron Banner. Unlike other Crucible events on "Destiny," Iron Banner is a unique one since all power advantages are enabled. This allow players with high gear level to inflict more damage.

"Destiny: The Taken King" is set to launch an expansion next month where "Rift," a new capture-the-flag type mode, will be introduced. But this massive update will reportedly put "Destiny's" community into a rift because of the lack of enough space for the new-Gen consoles to install the required patches in the expansion.
