Iraq war veteran Bradley William Stone, the suspect in the killing of six people in Montgomery, was found dead with self-inflicted knife wounds in the woods near his home in Pennsburg, Philadelphia after two days of the alleged murder.
According to reports, the 35-year-old veteran killed his ex-wife, five of her relatives, and another person outside Philadelphia. Montgomery District Attorney Risa Vetri Ferman explained that the former Marine died of the self-inflicted wounds at the center of his body but the official cause of death is yet to be announced.

Ferman also said in a statement that there was an intense manhunt for Stone and that his alleged victims suffered from a combination of cutting wounds and gunshot. Authorities said that the suspect fatally shot his ex-wife identified as Nicole Hill Stone. The murder reportedly stemmed from a custody battle over their two daughters aged five and seven.
Stone and his ex-wife filed for a divorce back in 2012 and although Stone remarried and his ex-wife was already engaged, their fight had worsened over the years. According to a neighbor of Nicole, she was really afraid of Stone and she would tell anybody that he would kill her.
Stone's problem was intensified by his post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and according to documents obtained from court, he already had three DUI arrests and was already on probation due to one conviction. He already was getting treatment from PTSD but no other information has been provided about it.
Stones reportedly served the Marines from 2002 to 2011 and was also part of a combat tour in Iraq back in 2008. He was discharged from his post honorably as a sergeant and won many awards.
The argument reportedly started at 3:30 in the morning at the home of his ex-wife's sister identified as Patricia Flick. The latter, her husband and their 14-year-old daughter were killed in the incident. Their 17-year-old son was badly injured and his situation is yet to be determined. Also killed in the fit was Nicole's mother and grandmother.
Meanwhile, Stone's two daughters were later found safe at a neighbor's home.
