According to reports, Samsung is working on the Android 5.0.1 update for the Galaxy S5 LTE-Advanced handset and the Galaxy Note Edge and Note 4. The Android 5.0.1 Lollipop update is currently being tested.
Some of the issues with the Android 5.0 Lollipop update are fast battery drain, poor Wi-Fi connectivity, crashes and slow performance. The new update is not an overhaul but a performance enhancement and bug fix.
The Galaxy Note Edge's sensor system has the Synaptics' Natural ID solution that divides the fingerprint scanner in two parts. The first part is at the home button that reads the bottom part of the user's fingerprint. The second part reads the fingerprint at the screen's bottom part with UHD OLED televisions, home appliances and a Google Glass competition at the IFA 2014.
The Samsung Galaxy Note Edge has a 16 MP rear camera, Samsung Exynos 5433 or Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 chipset, 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB internal storage. The device is dust and water proof with an ultraviolet sensor, iris scanner and a virtual reality headset named Samsung Gear VR. Samsung's S Pen stylus is also included in the Note Edge.
