Twilight star Nikki Reed and current beau Vampire Diaries actor Ian Somerhalder just spent the holidays cozying up in the mountains of Sun Valley, ID.

Somerhalder shares the quaint holiday experience with a picture for fans that he posted on Instagram-

"No filter for this sunny Sun Valley day of awesomeness with my loves, the incredible @iamnikkireed and my brother @nathanaugustreed," he captioned on a selfie he took with his girlfriend. "The Happiest of holidays to everyone, may nothing but smiles, family time and reflection come from these moments."

Reed's brother joined the couples romantic excursion making the trip a real family affair and prompting speculations of the new romance between the famous couple getting serious.

Reed also shares a snippet of the holiday on her Instagram-

"When families combine and hearts collide there's only one thing to do,. The butt wiggle," Reed shares via video. "My brother and my love all in one day, on one mountain-I'm so overwhelmed by all of the beauty that surrounds us."

The now confirmed couple sparked romance rumors back in August when the two were spotted taking a trip to the farmers' markets around Los Angeles. Further speculations were prompted when they were spotting kissing at a San Diego Comic Con party.

It seems however, that the couple is filled with nothing but love and gratitude for having found each other--

"I'm grateful for all of the love this years for me, us and ISF from everyone," Somerhalder posted on Instagram. "May you empower all around you with the same strength and energy you have to spread positivity and compassion. Smiles are contagious-please spread them;) I'm grateful for and l love you all..."

Prior to dating Reed, Somerhalder was in a long term relationship with Vampire Diaries co-star, Nina Dobrev, while Reed was most recently linked to Derek Hough.
