A big surprise but sorry ladies, Joseph Gordon-Levitt is officially off the market.

Gordon-Levitt's representative has confirmed that the 500 Days Of Summer and Dark Knight Rises actor has married his girlfriend, Tasha McCauley in a private ceremony. The ceremony was believed to have taken place in their very own abode on Dec 20.

Mrs. Gordon-Levitt is also believed to be "not a fan of spotlight" as well.

He has described her as someone who "doesn't really want to be a part of it."

Gordon-Levitt has been very private with it comes to his personal life. Though in September 2013, in his first interview with Sirius XM's Howard Stern Show, he had dropped the hint that he was seeing someone.

"I have a girlfriend but I wouldn't really want to talk in public. "Gordon-Levitt said. He elaborated further by saying, "She's not in show-business."

He had declined to answer when asked how long they were together but had shared that they met through mutual friends.

Gordon-Levitt also didn't want to provide the other details such as the name or who she really was.

When grilled further when they asked if he was in love, he had dismissed them by simply saying, "Oh jeez, man! Come on! This is getting private!"

Earlier last year in May, Gordon-Levitt and McCauley were spotted together in Los Angeles. The pair felt cozy next to each other, didn't care about the Paparazzi taking photos of them together.

Gordon-Levitt's arm were wrapped around his ladylove while strolling.

Actions do speak louder than words indeed.

When asked why he is discreet about his personal life, he simply replied, "I get in movies and I play other people. So when the audience is watching me in movies, I don't want them thinking about me and who I am dating."

He continued on with the conclusion that, "I want them to see the character, the story that I am telling."

Gordon-Levitt shot into fame when he starred in the famous TV show, 3rd Rock from the Sun. He also played Larisa Oleynik's love interest in 10 Things I Hate About You.

He eventually ventured into matured roles in 300 days Of Summer And Dark Knight Rises.
