Microsoft may have trudged along behind Sony in the console race for the best part of the year, but the last three months showed some sparks of growth, with the Xbox One outselling the PS4 in the U.S. on Black Friday.
Exclusives like "Sunset Overdrive", "Halo: Master Chief Collection" and "Titanfall" did make 2014 a decent year for Xbox One, but next year should be even better in terms of exclusives, here is five we're excited to see.

1. Halo Guardians
Halo has always been a fan favorite on Xbox, and "Halo 5: Guardians" looks to show all of the power of the Xbox One with exciting new worlds to explore.
Microsoft is preparing something unique for the Halo universe, after the events of "Halo 4" it is probably time for 343 Industries to try something new.
2. Quantum Break
It feels like "Quantum Break" has been in development forever, originally shown as a potential launch title for the Xbox One, it has sat for two years in further development.
Remedy Entertainment wants to break the barrier between TV and video games with Quantum Break, and even though that sounds unique early previews show a simple third-person shooter with time-stopping abilities.
3. Fable Legends
Fable Legends is a big step into the cooperative scene, allowing four players to fight one evil villain, and use different powers to overcome the enemy.
For fans of the Fable universe who have undoubtedly been scarred by "Fable: The Journey", Fable Legends looks to be a removal of the single-player, into a sandbox style game with the same humor.
4. Crackdown 3
Crackdown is another fan favorite on Xbox, and Crackdown 3 looks to be a complete evolution of the game, sticking with the same themes but amplifying them by x10.
Running on the Xbox One, Crackdown 3 should be the ultimate sandbox for any gamer who likes destruction and chaos.
5. Cuphead
Indie titles are always trying to push the boundaries with aesthetic, and one of the most appealing games coming to Xbox One in the next year has to be "Cuphead", developed by Studio MDHR.
The game features a classic hand drawn Disney art-style, alongside some interesting platforming and boss-battles.
