Follwing A-list Hollywood stars Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively's announcement that they just welcomed a healthy baby after new year's, the couple now finally reveals the gender of the latest addition to the family.

Apparently, the couple just welcomed a beautiful baby girl and are being loving parents to their lovely bundle of joy.

Several months back, Reynolds revealed that he himself did not know whether the couple were having a boy or a girl; but was simply looking forward to welcoming a child of his own.

"I'm just excited about having a buddy," he shared in a previous interview. "We don't know if it's a boy or a girl yet, but whatever it is, you have this tether to reality that never goes away. I don't have a weak stomach. I'm good with diapers, diarrhea and all that kind of stuff because I have lots of nieces and nephews, so I've done it all before."

After this piece of news, fans of the couple are no doubt looking forward to the big name reveal. Reynolds, who once shared his ideas for baby names jokingly spoke about it in a previous interview, saying:

"I don't want a name that's anything pretentious or, like, Hollywoody. So I'm going with Excalibur Anaconda Reynolds...that's if it's a girl," he quipped.

Reports suggest that Lively actually welcomed their baby before the holidays, but managed to keep the happy news under wraps.

Leading up to the actress giving birth, Lively also shares that becoming a mother has always been a longstanding dream.

"It's something that I've always wanted ever since I was a little girl," she told Us this past October.
