2015 Golden Globe Awards Dinner Menu Revealed

The excitement was palpable as the menu for the 72nd Golden Globe Awards was revealed at the Beverly Hills' Hilton Hotel. On display, were the dishes created by Chef Troy Thomspon, he explained that for the years menu he kept an eye on cutting the calories for each dish but made sure that they still maintained a satisfying and mouthwatering taste.

The dinner, that will be served is a three-course meal that was inspired by the fresh produce in Californian farms. Guests will start with a salad that consists of celery, apple and grapes topped with an emulsion of egg white and lemon juice, the mixture of fruits and celery will be settled on a bed of lettuce drizzled with olive oil.
Guests will also be served an entree but will be given options of either vegan, double meat or gluten free, although if the guests prefer not to choose they will be served the main entree which is Fillet Mignon with slow-baked arctic chard with a croquette made with potatoes and heirloom cherry tomatoes with black Tuscan kale on top.
Chef Thompson created a trio of flavors for the desert which consists of Turrets of Cassis lemon cheesecake, salted caramel chocolate alliance and hazelnut dacquoise, one of the turrets is said to be balanced using a ball of gold.
The service, which will be serving an estimated 1,300 A-lister guests will be operated by 150 serving staff, 10,000 plate settings, 600 bottles of wine and 400 bottles of Moet as well as 400 pounds of fish, 700 pounds of beef tenderloin steak and 1,000 heads of Romaine lettuce and 1,500 mini bottles of champagne that will be served during the red carpet.
Lastly, the team also created a special drink for the occasion they teamed up with Golden Globe nominee Isabelle Rossellini's daughter, Elettra Wiedermann and together they created a lovely mixture of clementines and Imperial Rose Moet.
The 2015 Golden Globe Awards will be televised live on January 11, 2015.
