It's a collaboration that's the stuff of Hollywood legends--but allegedly, A-lister Brad Pitt and his production company, Plan B, has assembled an impressive all-star cast of Hollywood actors for his next book to big screen adaptation, that includes Christian Bale and Ryan Gosling.

According to numerous sources, Pitt has just landed two of Tinseltown's biggest names to star in his latest project, The Big Short.
Allegedly, Bale and Gosling are slated to star in the movie adaptation of the Michael Lewis bestseller. The project has Adam McKay at the helm as director and writer.
Pitt takes on the role as producer for the film, working alongside Dede Gardner.
While production dates have yet to be announced, it seems Pitt is very passionate about getting the novel up on the big screen. The non-fiction book is premised on the events that led up to the housing and credit bubble in the 2000s, eventually leading to the massive financial crisis of 2007-2010.
If rumors surrounding this project are to be believed, it seems the cast of the film can rival that of A-list headliners featured in films such as "Traffic" or "The Counselor."
Production partner, Paramount has yet to confirm the news.
Pitt was last seen in the film Fury starring alongside the controversial actor, Shia Lebeouf. The Dark Knight star, Christian Bale's most recent project was Exodus: Gods and Kings and is slated to start shooting the Travis McGee film, "The Deep Blue Goodby." And The Notebook star, Gosling will be staring in the thriller, "The Nice Guys."
