The family Whitney Houston wasn't happy about Lifetime's portrayal of the late songstress' biopic.
The made-for-tv film, which premiered last night, earned the ire and criticism of Houston's sister in law, Pat, who called it 'oppotunistic' as it was unauthorized.
"We have already dealt with every emotion that a person can possibly encounter and we have been with Whitney through everything up until the moment of her death, with that being said I believe that we are in the absolute position and absolute authority to feel the way we feel about her legacy," Pat said.

She vented on the fact that the family wasn't advised about the making of the biopic and that their inputs were never factored in.
Neither were they given an advanced copy of the film, which she said was based solely on the accounts of Houston's ex, Bobby Brown.
Pat said her daughter even raised the issue after being bombarded with questions by her teachers and classmates about her aunt Whitney's biopic.
The Houston family also issued a warning to fans who might end up watching the film.
"If you watch the movie please remember that Lifetime has released dozens of badly made films about deceased celebrities," they said.
Lifetime earlier received similar criticism for producing the biopics of Aaliyah and Brittany Murphy.
Whitney died on February 11, 2012 when she drowned in her bathtub after taking cocaine and Xanax.
