At first, the former TVB actress wanted a natural birth for her second child but per doctor's advice, she opted to have a Caesarean section instead. Tong's newborn daughter weighed slightly over 7 pounds at birth.
The 33-year-old actress is currently at home, taking care of the new addition in the family. Tong has maintained a low profile since her marriage to theater actor, Desmond Tang in 2010. In the ensuing year, she gave birth to her first born son named Chun Chun, also delivered via Caesarean section.
Tong debuted as a child star and made her first appearance in John Woo's action-comedy film, Once A Thief. Tong was also nominated as "Most Improved Actress" award for TVB in 2004. She became one of TVB's most bankable actresses, having two of her series, Ten Brothers and Family Link, named as TVB's top-rated dramas of 2007.
Close friends and fans of the actress congratulated her for another blessing in the family. Having one son and one daughter, this is considered for some as a good fortune.
