Former Arkansas Governor, Fox News pundit, and possible 2016 presidential candidate Mike Huckabee, is reportedly not impressed with the spending agenda that U.S. President Barack Obama presented during his State of the Union address Tuesday.

The president focused on increasing taxes and offering students two years of free tuition in community colleges. According to Huckabee, only two things are definite when it comes to the Obama administration and these are debts and taxes.

He has released a statement saying that the national debt of the U.S. has grown to $7.5 trillion since Obama took office and it's all the more ridiculous for Obama to propose that there will be additional $320 billion in the new taxes.

"Fortunately, the American people sent a resounding message of rejection to his liberal polices in November, and Republicans in the House and Senate will be able to push back on President Obama's big-spending agenda," Huckabee adds.

Huckabee also pointed out that the college plan might be good in theory but he dubbed it as a very irresponsible proposal. The White House has estimated that the government has to spend at least $60 billion for ten years in order to implement the proposal on free tuition for two years in community colleges.

The rebuttal of Huckabee is being looked upon as the first salvo that has been fired by a possible 2016 candidate.

However, he is not alone on this as another Republican, Senator Rand Paul, another 2016 presidential candidate, will be offering a Facebook page that would offer a fact-check on the statement that have been made by Obama during his past addresses. He also plans to have a YouTube channel where he would respond to Obama's speech after it airs on national television.
