A man spotted in a subway wearing a watermelon on his head, frightened fellow commuters.
He regularly took the subway, with the watermelon helmet lodged in his head. He even carved a starshaped hole, so he could see through. A mouth hole completed the look.

To complement his mask, he wore jeans, jacket and carried a backpack.
Locals have named him the "watermelon brother" as snapshots of him were quickly shared online.
Some passengers who were frightened by his presence have called the police, to report their creepy encounter with him.
"'It was so scary last night when I was on the metro." one passenger surnamed Wu told the Beijing Morning Post. "This guy was just hanging around on the train wearing a watermelon mask, with a beer bottle and a baijiu bottle in his two hands." the passenger added.
"I was scared by this watermelon brother too, I posted some pictures of him on Weibo, then I [tagged] the Beijing Metro Police, reporting this guy's 'strange' behavior." another passenger said.
The subway staff reported the watermelon man to police, who later tracked him down and held him for questioning.
Experts say, some ordinary citizens engage in bizarre activities to gain a few minutes of fame.
In Singapore, a man and a woman, dressed in yellow, suddenly broke into a sudden dance inside an MRT. Their video garnered over a thousand shares on social media sites.
It remains unclear what the watermelon brother's intention was in putting up the stunt -- whether to amuse fellow passengers or frighten them. But one thing's for sure, he got his few minutes of fame... online.
