After the game against the Spurs, the team is expected to take the uniform on the road for their games on February 24 (Tuesday) at Washington and on March 2 (Monday) at Brooklyn.

The final game of the season for these uniforms will come when the Warriors face the Milwaukee Bucks on March 4.

Warriors President and Chief Operating Officer Rick Welts said that they have been working to produce these uniforms for two years. They continue on, saying that they did so in order to recognize the numerous fan base that the Asian communities represent.

"Connecting with our Asian community is a priority for our organization and we are proud that we are going to be one of two teams in the NBA to debut a Chinese New Year themed uniform as a way to thank our fans here in the Bay Area and abroad in China," said Welts.

Apart from the Warriors, the Houston Rockets also unveiled their Chinese New Year uniforms today. These two teams mark the first ever in NBA history with these kinds of game uniforms.

In order to pay tribute to the numerous fans in China, the NBA will have a big Chinese New Year Celebration on March 4. The celebration will consist of a record 56 live game broadcast that will be streamed in Greater China. It looks to showcase 27 of the 30 NBA teams.

Also building the celebration will be the debut of "Surprise Door," an initiative to give support to underprivileged communities in China, as well as the new uniforms.
