This wouldn't be the first time the Call of Duty franchise decided to release a DLC exclusively to Microsoft's Xbox users first. Developing companies including Activision and Sledgehammer Games have been releasing DLCs for Call of Duty to Xbox before all other platforms ever since the Modern Warfare installment.
According to the Inquisitr, the exclusivity of DLCs for Xbox users typically last about a month before the content opens up for other console users. So based on that assumption, PS and PC users can expect the Havoc DLC to make its way around sometime by the end of February.
However, it's worth noting that Activision typically announces the release date of DLCs for other platforms with the initial launch of the DLC for Xbox, but that hasn't been the case with the Havoc DLC. So far, there has been no mention of a DLC release date for any other platform.
The Havoc DLC consists of the highly anticipated Exo Zombie cooperative game mode experience. Gamers will work in a group of four where they must face a bloodthirsty mutant horde and survive within the secret Atlas research facility.
The DLC will also include four brand-new multiplayer maps called Core, Urban, Sideshow and Drift, as well as the new AE4 directed energy assault rife and the AE4 Widowmaker custom variant. The Havoc DLC is now available for Xbox users for just $14.99.
