British car manufacturer Jaguar Land Rover is recalling 104,000 vehicles due to faulty brakes and lighting.
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration says, 74,648 Range Rovers from 2006 to 2012 will be recalled for fears, one or both front brake hoses could rupture, causing a loss of break fluid. The defect can also slow the braking speed, which could increase the risk of a crash.

Land Rover dealers will replace the brake hoses for free.
Another 25,000 Range Rovers and Range Rover Sports with model year 2013 and 2014 will also be affected by the recall. The company said, the units' brake vacuum hose might have been routed improperly, which could create a hole and eventually lead to loss of braking power. Dealers are set to inspect the units and reroute or repair them if necessary.
As many as 4,787 Jaguar XK cars manufactured from 2012 to 2015 will also be called back, for parking lights software update.
Safety regulators initially probed Jaguar Land Rover's brake hoses in November 2010, after bulges in the hoses were noticed. But the case was closed following an 18-month investigation due to lack of reports of accidents and injuries.
The case was reopened in November 2014, after a series of ruptured hoses were reported.
All the recalls are expected to begin March 13.
Jaguar Land Rover's move follows a second recall on over two million vehicles by Fiat Chrysler Automobiles NV, Honda Motor Co. and Toyota Motor Corp. due to faulty air bags.
