(Photo : Google) Google has announced dates for its annual developer conference.
Google announced dates for its annual developer conference in San Francisco's Moscone Convention Center on March 28-29.
Registration for the event will start March 17 and like all Google I/O events it's bound to be a rush through the door, leaving hundreds of thousands of budding developers and press empty handed. The event will also be livestreamed for those that can't make it.

Google's head of services Sundar Pichai announced the event on Twitter. Pichai will most likely run through all of the core updates to Android, Chrome OS and Google services since he's now the head of the full division.
For the past two years, Google has been pretty light on hardware announcements, launching mostly Google Play Edition devices instead of Nexus products at the event.
There are a few questions for this year's event, especially about Google Glass, the recently denounced product that's been pushed to Nest Labs to sort out.
Google might also announce something having to do with wireless at the event since all the current rumors are about an MVNO utilizing both T-Mobile and Sprint alongside public Wi-Fi.
Compared to Apple events, Google I/O seems to be a lot more to do with software updates instead of any huge changes to the service. Google is more iterative with its updates compared to Apple with its annual releases.
Google's CEO Larry Page didn't make an appearance at the event last year. This year, there are questions about the future of Google in wireless, mobile and potentially space. Google's investments in Project Loon, SkyBox Imaging and SpaceX are sure to be topics of conversation.
