After being criticized for his power play stunt with Brooklyn Nets in the last couple of days, Jason Kidd was finally announced Wednesday as the new head coach for Milwaukee Bucks.
The Bucks signed the 10-time All Star player Tuesday in exchange for sending two second-round draft picks in 2015 and 2019.

Brooklyn Nets have since signed a contract with Lionel Hollins to replace Kidd, according to the team's announcement Wednesday.
ESPN reported that Kidd agreed to a three-year, US$15 million contract with the Bucks.
Steve Kerr and Derek Fisher, both of whom are incoming rookie head coaches recently signed five-year, US$25 million deals with the Warriors and the Knicks, respectively.
According to earlier reports, this was what drove Kidd to approach the owner of Brooklyn Nets and ask for final say in personnel while keeping his coaching job in Brooklyn. Nets general manager Billy King confirmed the meeting Wednesday in an interview with ESPN Radio.
Brooklyn, however, said no to Kidd's offer and instead gave him permission to talk with the Bucks. The deal was struck and Kidd, who according to league sources lobbied his way to get into Larry Drew's job, joined the Bucks as its 14th head coach.
After the introductory conference, Kidd denied reports of his attempt at power play in Brooklyn.
"Is there a power outage in Brooklyn? I think they have a good president, I think they're in good hands," he said.
Kidd, 41, comes fresh from a one-year stint as Net's rookie coach. He guided Brooklyn to the sixth seed in the Eastern Conference with a 44-38 record and was twice named Eastern Conference Coach of the Month.
Kidd inherits the league's worst performing team which finished 15-67 last season. He expressed high hopes for Buck's young roster which recently drafted No. 2 overall pick Jabari Parker and the 19-year old Giannis Antetokounmpo.
"You couldn't ask for a better opportunity to teach and try to make these guys better," he said.
