The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department arrested on Thursday the alleged gunman who shot to death Tammy Meyers after a road rage incident.
It turned out that the suspect, 19-year-old Erich Nowsch, is known to the victim and her family. Despite the arrest of Nowsch, cops are still searching for another suspect.

Robert Meyers, the husband of Tammy, said that his late wife even spent countless hours attempting to help Nowsch, reports ABC. He said that his wife even gave the suspect food and money and encouraged Nowsch to dress properly.
"We knew this boy. I couldn't tell you this before. He knew where I lived," Fox quotes Meyers as saying. "We knew how bad he was but we didn't know he was this bad."
However, police spokesman said that investigators did not know that the Meyers, 44, knew the suspect.
Meyers said his wife and adult son, Brandon - who was armed - looked for Nowsch because they knew his house. When the two got back home, Nowsch allegedly pulled up and fired at Tammy, which fatally wounded the former nurse.
Tammy died on Saturday at the University Medical Center of Southern Nevada.
Neighbors of Nowsch heard bullhorns and the sound of a helicopter at about 11:30 a.m. as officers arrived to arrest the young suspect. While the cops were coaxing Nowsch to surrender, Meyers showed up and was understandably emotional.
As he approached the house of the suspect, officers stopped him and asked Meyers to step back behind the yellow tape.
He then vented his ire on reporters and snapped at them, saying, "Are you all happy? You made my wife look like an animal. There's the animal, a block away!"
