Prince William, the Duke of Cambridge, will arrive in China on Sunday for a four-day state visit. He is the first British royalty to visit China in almost 30 years.
An itinerary provided by British officials said that Prince William will be met at the Beijing Airport by British Ambassador to China Barbara Woodward.

His charities will play a prominent role in his China visits such as his Monday trip to a local hutong - a poor community - where there is a local house restored by his charitable foundations.
Of course, a trip to China wouldn't be complete, even for a blue-blooded royal, without a peek at the Forbidden City with a senior government official to accompany him. He will then have lunch with another government official and then later fly to Shanghai to open the Great Creativity Exhibition that features contemporary art.
His third day will be very busy with the prince speaking about design and creativity at the Long Museum where he is expected to refer to British icons such as BBC, British Airways and Jaguar Land Rover. The duke then visits Chinese students training in soccer and meet more Chinese students who studied in the UK at the British Council Global Alumni Awards.
Other activities for March 3 include opening a restored heritage building, a visit to the British Centre where two offices would open and attending the premiere of "Paddington" - a movie about British literature. Prince William ends the night with dinner at Long Museum.
On his last day in China, Prince William goes to Yunnan Province for a meeting with village elders from a Dai minority group and a visit at an elephant sanctuary where there is also a meeting with forestry officials in which China's conservation efforts would be tackled. A peek at several botanical gardens and delivering a speech on conservation and illegal wildlife trafficking caps his final day in China.
