Case closed. The Toronto police has concluded its probe into the mysterious 30-ft tunnel found in the woods near York University.
Police said the tunnel was built by two men in their 20's to have a place where they can hang out.
"It is simply two guys who just wanted to dig a cave," said Toronto police spokesman Victor Kwong.

The Toronto police said the two men, whose names were not disclosed, had no criminal intent in building the tunnel. They just wanted to build a man cave, and they did it just for fun.
The tunnel was first discovered in January by a conservation officer several meters from the Rexall Center, where the Pan Am Games will be held in July. The wildlife officer found a piece of metal on the ground, that when lifted led to a passageway.
The bunker was two meters high, about 36 inches wide and measured 33 feet long. It could have stretched all the way onto the other side of a hill overlooking the tennis courts that will be used in the Pan Am Games.
When photos of the tunnel were shown on television, a man called the police saying he owned some of the equipment found there. He said he loaned the equipment to a construction worker.
Some of the items found include generator, bulbs, wheelbarrow, pump for removing ground water and some food and beverage containers.
The worker and his friend admitted building the tunnel and were very apologetic of their actions. Police did not file any charges against the two, saying they did not pose any threat to the public.
The tunnel's discovery created a buzz among social media users. People reacted with funny jokes on Twitter.
Some tweeted that the mystery tunnel was a kind of a wormhole that will be used by Aliens to watch games at the Rexall Center without paying for tickets. Another Twitter user tweeted of plans of building a girl cave this time, where she can do a mani and pedi.
