Multi Grammy winner Chris Brown, who has a 9 month old love child with former model Nia Amey, may be heading to family court and Amey may face the consequence of receiving a lesser amount of child support due to leaking stories, according to Daily Mail via TMZ.

Due to this reason, Brown is considering pay child support at a lesser amount than agreed with Amey.

He also didn't know that he fathered a child with Amey until last month, when Amey broke the News.

Brown was allegedly offering a deal that he would pay monthly child support.

On the other hand, if a judge offers a formal order of child support then Brown will fork out a more substantial amount that he'd be required to pay. The basis for child support payment is the income of a parent.

Brown purportedly increased that amount of child support but requested that Amey would keep her lips sealed in return. But since the singer believes that Amey is leaking out stories to the prying media, he is currently in talks with legal representatives, setting for a lesser amount to pay.

Brown's 9 month old child's name is Royalty, though it is unclear whether the 25 year old singer was involved in participation of naming the child.

The paternity claims against Brown also prompted his on and off girlfriend, Karreuche Tran to jump ship permanently.

Tran shared how much the singer wanted them to start a family by Tran insisted on getting married first according to TMZ.

In August 2014, Brown expressed his desire to have children with Tran through Twitter.

"Need to have this baby and stop playing," he tweeted.

Though Tran considers Amey as a side show, Amey and Brown have known each other for years, according to TMZ.

Amey is also a full time nursing student based in Texas and is allegedly raising 'Royalty' with another man, who was even led to believe that he was the father of the child, according to Media TakeOut.
