Will Ferrell is about to do something extreme as always.

The actor-comedian will play all nine positions in several baseball fields in Arizona today, according to USA Today via Time News.

Ferrell will not just cover the popular positions in baseball, but also the lesser known positions such as first base,catcher, second base, point guard and right tackle.

The baseball teams he will be playing for are: Seattle Mariners, Oakland Athletics, Chicago Cubs, Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, Cincinnati Reds, Arizona Diamondbacks, San Francisco Giants, Chicago White Sox, Los Angeles Dodgers of Los Angeles and San Diego Padres.

Ferrell's mode of transportation will be via a helicopter, which will take him to each of the eight Cactus League ballparks who will be hosting games for a good cause.

Ferrell's appearances at several games are part of HBO's cancer awareness event, according to Chicago Tribune.

This event is not Ferrell's first appearance at a baseball event. He played at a Round Rock Express Game as middle reliever named Billy Ray "Rojo" Johnson as a part of a cancer awareness event last 2010.

The TV special will air in HBO in late 2015.

The HBO special is in conjunction with the 'Funny or Die' website co-founded by the comedian. As Ferrell dedicates the cause to fight cancer, he will also give tribute to Bert Campaneris' feat of playing nine positions in a game almost 50 years ago.

The starting times will be adjusted for Ferrell's first four games to make his 'barnstorming' possible.

The first game of the day will be between the A's and Mariners at noon local time. The last game starts at 6:15pm and will be the Dodgers-Padres games.
