It doesn't need further introduction to describe the magnitude this match-up is about to generate. College basketball's perennial powers Duke and Michigan State will open another chapter of their colorful rivalry, as Blue Devils' head coach Mike Krzyzewski and Spartans' bench tactician Tom Izzo put everything on the line for a shot at the National Championship.

Seeded no.1 in the South Regional division, the Blue Devils leaned on their trio of super-freshman (Jahill Okafor, Justice Winslow and Tyrus Jones) and their trademark stifling defense to punch their Final Four ticket. On the contrary, the 7^th-seeded Spartans had to survive four tightly contested battles (three of them against top-4 teams in the East Regional) to make their entry into the National semifinals.

No matter how hard or easy the competitions through the first four rounds, every player on both teams is aware that it's going to be a brand new ballgame in the Final Four, where the stake is higher and pressure is through the roof.

Krzyzewski, who holds a 9-1 head-to-head record over Izzo (including a 2-1 record in the NCAA tournament), stressed that his boys need to play the game of their life against Michigan State's pack of hungry wolves because Izzo's reputation alone as the mastermind behind a series of big upsets against highly-favored opponents.

On Saturday, the entire nation will stop and watch if Krzyzewski's blue chip wonders will be too match for Izzo's scrappy dozens or it will be the grit and grind of the upset-minded Spartans that will prevail over their untested foe.
