Coming off their first loss at the hands of the Wisconsin Badgers, the Kentucky Wildcats' first loss was blemished even more with Andrew Harrison's obscene slur towards Frank Kaminsky. He ended up apologizing for it Sunday.

Going in to the game with the Badgers, the Wildcats were riding high. With a 38-0 record for the season, they were the favored ones in the match and were even poised to win the championship.

However, the perfect structure that was their season shattered during the semi-finals game. For some, the loss was just too hard to handle.

The pain of loss is handled in different ways. Harrison handled it by hurling a racial slur during a postgame news conference at the Final Four.

Into a live microphone, Harrison muttered, "F--- that n-----" when another player was asked a question about Badgers player, Kaminsky.

The comment flew out of Harrison's mouth just as a reporter was asking Kentucky's Karl-Anthony Towns about his opinion and experience in guarding the 7-foot Kaminsky.

While he muttered it with his hand in front of his mouth, the words still found their way to the microphone, and to the ears of all in attendance.

Social media picked up the issue quickly and word on it spread like a virus thanks to several live tweets and video clips. The program then looked into the matter.

A day after the conference, Harrison himself took to Twitter and said that he wanted to apologize for his poor choice of words used in jest towards a player he respects and knows.

"When I realized how this could be perceived I immediately called big Frank to apologize and let him know I didn't mean any disrespect," Harrison tweeted.

He also said that after, he and Kaminsky had a good conversation where he wished the Badgers luck moving into the championship game on Monday.
