It was a very emotional day for the Kardashian sisters, Kim and Khloe in Armenia.
The "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" reality stars took some time off their day so they can pay a visit to the memorial site of the Armenian Genocide at Tsitsernakaberd in Yerevan on Friday and paid their respects to the 1.5 million Armenians who died at the hands of the Ottoman Empire in 1915.

The sisters, who were joined by Kim's husband, rapper Kanye West and their cousins Kourtni and Kara, arrived at the memorial site with bouquets of red tulips. All of them looked sad and somber as they arrived and toured the site with Suren Manukian, the deputy director of the Genocide Institute. It was also Suren who recalled the story to them about the event.
Kim looked extremely gorgeous in a red flowy jumpsuit, while Khloé looked glamorous in a conservative navy blue jumpsuit. Kanye sported a comfortable all-black outfit. The trio was surrounded by numerous fans and security as they toured the complex.
When they finally got to the flame, they laid down the tulips and observed a moment of silence to honor the millions of Armenians, who will be commemorated later this month for the 100th anniversary. Kanye and Kim's daughter North went with them to Armenia, though she didn't bring them along to the memorial site.
Aside from visiting the Armenian Genocide memorial, the reality family was given a certificate, which grants them land in the country. Khloé took to her official Facebook page to share a photo of the document and captioned it, "Kourt and Rob we got you a souvenir! Land in Armenia!"
Just this week, the sisters paid a visit to Hovik Abrahamyan, Armenia's Prime Minister, after they visited Yerevan to see the Mother Armenia statue.
