Germany's Parliament was put under heavy criticism earlier this week by the Turkish government due to their passing of a resolution officially recognising the mass murders as 'genocide'. Turkey countered, claiming Germany is hypocritical since they perpetrated the holocaust during World War 2.

Germany's parliament has approved a symbolic resolution recognizing the 1915 massacre of Armenians during the First World War by the Ottoman Empire as a 'genocide.' The Turkish government has strongly condemned the resolution which is like to strain its relations with Germany.

It was a very emotional day for the Kardashian sisters, Kim and Khloe in Armenia. The "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" reality stars took some time off their day so they can pay a visit to the memorial site of the Armenian Genocide at Tsitsernakaberd in Yerevan on Friday and paid their respects to the 1.5 million Armenians who died at the hands of the Ottoman Empire in 1915.
