Ellen DeGeneres has revealed a most romantic piece of good news: she's quitting alcohol to help her wife, Portia De Rossi.
It's been reported that Portia had to go into rehab recently for substance abuse. With that, Portia has to stay sober and so does Ellen to show her full support.

Ellen, a remarkable host, is known for being a big drinker. Well, we can't blame her since she's like a billionaire and needs to booze since that's how some rich people roll.
Ellen, however, has come to a realization that her continuing to drink will encourage Portia to drink, as well. She also feels responsible for the Portia's stint in rehab.
The couple have been married since 2008 and it seems Ellen's sacrifice is a commitment to Portia that she wants to make things work.
Ellen, 56, says she's very determined to do anything, even give up alcohol, just so Portia, 41, will remain healthy and sober.
Ellen was rumored to have cheated on Portia but the couple remain happy together. Ellen said she loves Portia more than anything (including booze) in the world.
She wants to make sure she's healthy both physically and emotionally. Drinking and enjoying her booze in front of Portia made her realize she was being selfish.
Everyone hopes this proud couple gets through this difficult time.
