BREAKING: 47 Dead, 11 injured in Taiwan Plane Crash

Taiwanese authorities have confirmed 47 people are dead and 11 injured after a passenger plane crashed in Penghu island on Wednesday night, just outside the Magong airport, Taiwan news agency reported.
According to the Central News Agency, the plane, operated by TransAsia Airways, crashed in the area after attempting to land. The flight has 54 passengers and four crew.

Flight GE 222 took off at 5 p.m. from Kaohsiung in southern Taiwan, and was expected to arrive in the Magong airport at 5:35 p.m. But data from Kaohsiung International Airport and Civil Aeronautics Administration showed that plane's actual departure time was 5:43 pm.
It was still unclear what have caused the incident, with Taiwanese officials yet to release any statement regarding the reported incident.
Hours ago, Taiwan was buffeted by strong winds due to the passage of Typhoon Matmo across the island. The plane was flying in inclement weather.
If confirmed, it will the second deadly incident involving passenger airlines with mass fatalities this month, following the downing of Malaysia Airlines Flight 17 in Eastern Ukraine that killed all of its 298 people on board.
The MH17 incident is reportedly carried out by pro-Russian rebels fighting Ukrainian government in the eastern region, calling for a referendum to join the Russia.
