Following the fatal crash last week of a TransAsia plane, the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) of Taiwan ordered all pilots of the company to take oral proficiency tests on how to handle a plane if its engine failed.

Taiwanese authorities have confirmed 47 people are dead while 11 were injured in Taiwan after a passenger plane crashed in Penghu island on Wednesday night, just outside the Magong airport, Taiwan news agency reported.
